Bacteria
“Death begins in the colon” – Professor Ilya Mechnikov, Bacteriologist
Bacteria
is the basis of all life on the planet. They were the original life and no living
things on earth can exist without them. Bacteria exist in colonies with in excess
of over one million in each colony.
Solid health is the product of mind, body and
soul and in order to achieve optimum health we need fresh air, pure clean water,
exercise and quality nutrition from food.
NUTRITION (According to Webster’s dictionary)
Science of food and the process by which the organism ingests, digests, absorbs, transports, utilises and excretes food substances
It is thought the majority of health problems in today’s society are caused by a
lack of good nutrition. We may be consuming the best nutrients in the world but if
they can’t be digested and assimilated then they are useless. The problem for the
majority of people is that they have a bacteria imbalance in their colon.
The ideal
ratio of good to nasty bacteria in the gut is 85:15. That’s 85% good (probiotic)
and 15% nasty (pathogenic). However, for most people the opposite is true and they
have 85% harmful bacteria compared to 15% beneficial bacteria. As there are bacteria
throughout the whole of your intestines (and if stretched out these would cover half
a tennis court!), that’s a lot of harmful bacteria. The stomach and intestinal bacterium
have a great impact on your health.
When you suffer from low quantities of good bacteria your immune system is severely compromised and some form of physical disease is likely to manifest itself.
Common warning signs of a bacterial imbalance are:
